Challenges

Extended and detailed preliminary design stages were required for the successful delivery of this project. The tower also needed to retain its heritage-listed façade.

Access challenges to the site, via an adjoining property, required teams to re-route the unloading programs and container deliveries to accommodate access requirements.

Results

The AJK Outfitters’ team collaborated with our client at every stage of the project to ensure the custom fit out was fit-for-purpose for the young professional or student rental target market.

A full suite of in-room furniture, custom joinery, including bedheads and common area FFE installed to specifications and ready for operation.  The on-brand fit-out contributed to The Switch Living team’s vision to ‘redefine urban renting.’
